A SIMPLE STRESS MANAGEMENT TOOL

You can think of EFT as ‘emotional acupuncture.’ The process uses acupressure points and implements principles of exposure and cognitive behavioural therapies. Clinical research on EFT has shown benefits across a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, cravings, and phobias. I have personally worked with clients on many areas of life including phobias, cravings, body-image and self-love challenges, self-care practices, relationship conflicts, their life goals and more.


WHAT DOES THE EFT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

This is the 'active ingredient.' We gently tap on acupressure points on the head and upper body.

While we tap, we acknowledge the emotion you feel, the trigger, and any present physical sensations.

We affirm and accept the present as it is now.

These components work together to quickly calm the stress-centre in the brain, helping to regulate our nervous system. Our body relearns how to respond to the trigger, and this creates powerful shifts in perspectives and beliefs.

HOW i can SUPPORT YOU WITH EFT

Do you feel stress and self-doubt in a certain area of your life? Are you feeling stuck in an emotion or habit? Practitioner guided sessions are about focused and intentional work on an area of your life where you would like to feel positive change. We create a goal together and work gently towards it. We identify and work to alchemise your self-limiting beliefs. Working with a practitioner offers you a chance to focus on goals such as:
  • Setting healthier boundaries or feeling more peace in a specific relationship
  • Working on a phobia or craving that you know doesn't serve you
  • Working towards a big dream/goal for yourself when you don't know where to start or doubt it's even possible
  • Showing up for yourself and your body with more confidence, love and motivation
  • Feeling more confident and in your power in the lead up to a meaningful event
  • Or simply having gentle, trauma-informed support during a transition stage in your life

We don't use EFT to 'cure' or make something magically disappear. We do use EFT to process the emotions and stress that surround your challenge. It doesn't change your circumstances on its own, but it does change how you perceive and experience them. This is true empowerment, because when you cultivate this type of inner strength, it becomes easier to ride the waves of life.
